Since 2002 I've been a freelance sound recordist/mixer who specialises in location recording for single camera PSC,

multi-camera PSC and full De-Rig/flyaway productions.

Everything from the simplest of PSC Vox Pops to a full multi-camera de-rig production to multi-track live music recordings.

I can look after all on-site sound requirements including full gallery comms, playback, line cut mixing, multi-track recording, timecode distribution, grams & cues, etc.

I'm also an experienced studio floor sound technician.

if you ain't got no pocket"

......to quote the phenomenal talent that is Victor Wooten.

But what does playing "in the Pocket” actually mean?

To me it's this:

“In the pocket” is where a solid rhythm section lives. It is a place of 'consistency', where the kick drum plays a rhythm or pattern and the bass locks in and plays on (or off) that very same rhythm - keeping the groove consistent and never losing timing.

I love to play bass - it's my guilty pleasure. Been doing it for quite a while now. I first picked up the bass in 1980.

My pocket is slowly getting deeper!
